President Trump joined French President Emmanuel Macron and other world leaders in Normandy, northwest France, Thursday for commemorative ceremonies marking the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

Details: Commemorative events took place in locations including the region's beaches, where Allied troops landed 75 years ago. It led to the Nazis being forced out of France and changed the course of the Second World War.
