The House Intelligence Committee may join the Senate Intelligence panel in issuing a subpoena to Donald Trump Jr., its chairman, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), told MSNBC's "The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell" Wednesday evening.
Details: Schiff cited inconsistency concerns about Trump Jr.'s testimony before his committee. "We may bring back some of the witnesses that we've had in before," he told host Lawrence O'Donnell.
The backdrop: Earlier Wednesday, the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee subpoenaed President Trump's eldest child to answer questions about his previous testimony before Senate investigators in relation to the Russia investigation, sources with direct knowledge told Axios.
Why it matters: It's another indication the Russia investigations in Congress aren't over, despite the conclusion of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
