The world watched in horror Monday while Paris' iconic Notre Dame cathedral was ravaged by fire.
The big picture: The cathedral's exterior has been saved, including its two iconic bell towers, French authorities said tonight. France also plans on rebuilding Notre Dame, with a fundraising drive starting Tuesday.
