Stacey Abrams on VP run with Biden: "You don't run for second place"
Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams addressed the possibility of her joining Joe Biden as vice president in his yet-to-be-announced 2020 campaign on Wednesday, saying: "I think you don't run for second place."
Buzz: "If I'm going to enter a primary, then I'm going to enter a primary," she added, in her interview on The View. Abrams later clarified that she was not completely shutting down the idea of running as a VP on Biden's ticket, but she is considering running her own campaigns.
- "I do not know if I'm running. I'm thinking about everything." Abrams mentioned possibly running for president, as well as running in a Senate race or running in a another governor's race.
