Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Thursday that his country will release a captured Indian pilot by March 1 as a "peace gesture," the AP reports.

The state of play: The planned release comes as India gave Pakistan a dossier on a suicide bombing in the contested Kashmir region that triggered the standoff between the two nuclear-armed nations, per the AP, a move that could further help to ease tensions in the region.
