The NRA's total income in 2017 dropped by nearly $55 million, with the agency reporting $312 million compared to the $367 million it made in 2016, reports The Daily Beast.

By the numbers: Sharp declines in membership dues and contributions are largely responsible for the dip. The NRA took in $128 million in membership dues in 2017, a significant drop from its $163 million figure in 2016, and it reported just $98 million in contributions in 2017 after receiving $125 million in 2016.
