The Washington Post will publish a special edition op-ed page on Thursday that will feature a column filed by Post contributor Jamal Khashoggi before his disappearance.

The Post held off publishing it because we hoped Jamal would come back to us so that he and I could edit it together. Now I have to accept: That is not going to happen.

The details: The announcement from the Post comes on the heels of President Trump requesting audio and video relating to Khashoggi's disappearance. The column focuses on the need for a free press in the Middle East. The paper will also publish a new piece from the Editorial Board printed on the opposite page.
