President Trump said Monday that he wants the FBI investigation of sexual allegations against Brett Kavanaugh to be "comprehensive," but that he will ultimately defer to Senate Republicans to dictate the scope.
Why it matters: Trump tweeted Sunday that he wants the FBI to investigate whomever they deem is appropriate, conflicting with an NBC News report that the White House has provided the bureau with a list of witnesses they can interview.
