Nasdaq hits another all-time high

The Nasdaq composite rose 1.39% to 7,823 points on Wednesday, as Amazon, Alphabet, Facebook and Microsoft each closed at all-time highs.

• Amazon: +2.4%
• Facebook/Microsoft: +2.2%

State of play: Investors pushed the companies higher after digesting, and getting past, escalating trade tensions between the U.S. and China.
