Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and former attorney general Eric Holder both sided with President Trump today, supporting a commutation for former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich's 18-year prison sentence for corruption, per NBC News' Geoff Bennett.
The details: Per Bennett, Holder said of Blagojevich's prison term: "I thought that sentence was a little harsh." And Durbin echoed those sentiments, saying, "If there's a way to reduce the sentence for him and his family, I would support it."
