Students in every corner of the U.S. have designated today National Walkout Day and marched out of their classrooms to protest gun violence on American campuses.
The big picture: Students from Los Angeles to Charlottesville showed power in numbers and demanded action from lawmakers on the one-month anniversary of the tragic mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
