White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders issued a statement slamming Michael Wolff's forthcoming bombshell book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" as "trashy tabloid fiction" sourced by "false and misleading accounts" from people pushing "sad desperate attempts at relevancy."
Melania Trump's press secretary Stephanie Grisham also pushed back on Wolff's claims that the First Lady cried in sadness when Trump won the presidency, calling the book "bargain fiction" and asserting that Melania was "very happy" about Trump's victory.
