President Trump spent his Friday morning tweeting about his approval ratings, the "Fake News" coverage of his presidency, and the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
Why this matters: Trump continues to try to discredit Special Counsel Bob Mueller's Russia probe even as the scope of his investigation is getting wider and several former Trump associates have been indicted or charged. Expect more of this in 2018.
One quick thing: Trump's approval rating is approximately 38% and Obama's was 51% at this same time in 2009, according to Gallup.
