Susan Rice denies targeting Trump team: "I leaked nothing"
Former National Security Advisor Susan Rice appeared on MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell Reports to respond to allegations that she "unmasked" the identities of Trump associates in incidental collection of their communications with foreign officials, stating it was "absolutely false" that she had engaged in any politically-motivated activities during her national security duties.
On unmasking the identities of American citizens: "We'd only do it to protect the American people — to do our jobs to protect national security…absolutely not for any political purposes, to spy, to expose anything."
On the intelligence received as NSA: "I don't solicit intelligence reports. I only see what the intelligence community thinks I or any other other senior official needs to see."
