The Trump administration's religious liberty executive order — which grants employers "regulatory relief" for contraceptive health care services and relaxes rules that prohibit tax-exempt churches from political engagement — will likely stand up to legal challenges better than Trump's travel ban, according to The Outline.
Why it's safe: The administration's initial plan for the order allowed businesses to refuse services to LGBT customers and would have faced extreme legal scrutiny, but this more measured version is "not vulnerable to immediate court challenge" thanks to its more focused scope.
But don't forget: This dialed down version will still disappoint a large swath of Trump voters.
