Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) said at the Charles Koch Foundation and Charles Koch Institute's Advancing Justice event on Thursday that the Sentencing Reform and Corrections Act would have received 70 votes in the Senate if voted on last year, and would still get 70 votes in the Senate this year. The bill was reintroduced several weeks ago by Senators Chuck Grassley and Dick Durbin, and has support on both sides of the aisle.

Timeline: Lee told Axios he wants a vote on the bill before the end of the year, but with health care and tax reform in focus, the criminal justice reform bill hasn't been a priority. (Refresh with the details of the bill, here.)
