Cory Gardner, the Republican senator from Colorado, openly condemned Donald Trump on Twitter after POTUS didn't characterize the Charlottesville protests as "domestic terrorism."
Why it matters: Gardner is the only GOP official to call out Trump directly for his lack of saying "white supremacists" and "domestic terrorism," but it shows that even some within his own party think POTUS should have used stronger language in denouncing the violent protests today.
