Ex-South Korean president arrested on corruption charges

Park Geun-hye, the first South Korean leader to be impeached and removed from office, has been arrested on 13 criminal charges that include bribery, extortion, and abuse of power, all stemming from the massive scandal that caused her to fall from power earlier this month, per the NYT.
