Sunday night, bipartisan negotiators reached a deal to fund the government through the fiscal year. The bill, which must pass through Congress, includes:
- $15 billion for the military, per ABC
- $2 billion increase for NIH
- $1.5 billion for border security, per Washington Post
- $295 million for Medicaid in Puerto Rico, per NBC
- $68 million to reimburse law enforcement in New York and Florida to protect President Trump, per ABC
It does not include:
- Funding for the border wall
- Any provision to block funding for Planned Parenthood or sanctuary cities
