Rep. John Conyers, who has been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women, announced he will step aside from his role as the ranking Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee while the Ethics Committee reviews his conduct, the New York Times' Yamiche Alcindor reports.
Conyers said, "After careful consideration and in light of the attention drawn by recent allegations made against me, I have notified the Democratic Leader of my request to step aside."
