Vandals poured blue paint over the "Charging Bull" statue on Wall Street Wednesday in protest of President Trump's withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement, per the NY Daily News.
The protestors also draped a sash that read "Draw the Blue Line" over the "Fearless Girl" statue that stands opposite the bull. The paint and sash were quickly removed by local authorities.
The group of protestors responsible are part of a group called "Draw the Blue Line" who advocate on behalf of the Paris Climate deal. The NYC-based organization asks others who support the agreement to join them in putting horizontal blue lines, meant to represent rising sea levels, across buildings, trees, fences, etc. during the 2017 UN General Assembly, which began Tuesday and ends Sept. 25.
