Technology companies and governments need to lead the charge against fake news, Apple CEO Tim Cook said in an interview with The Daily Telegraph.

He called on technology companies to try and "squeeze" the fake news phenomenon, but didn't offer specifics; "Too many of us are just in the complain category right now and haven't figured out what to do."
