One U.S. service member was killed, and two others injured, by "an apparent inside attack" in southern Afghanistan on Saturday, according to a press release from NATO's Resolute Support Mission.
The big picture: Per CNN, an "insider attack would mean one carried out by a member of the Afghan security forces." The incident is being investigated.
