All 10 Senate Judiciary Democrats signed and sent a letter to President Trump urging him to either "immediately withdraw" his nomination of Brett Kavanaugh, or have the FBI reopen their investigation into the Supreme Court nominee.
The big picture: This follows revelations that there are now second and third allegations of sexual assault and misconduct against Kavanaugh. There is a hearing scheduled for Thursday in which Kavanaugh's first accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford will testify in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee. A vote to confirm Kavanaugh to the high court is currently scheduled for Friday morning, although Sen. Grassley did not rule out a second hearing when asked about it Wednesday.
