Container shipping giant CMA CGM will acquire FedEx Supply Chain in a deal valuing the contract logistics unit at $1.4 billion, the companies announced Tuesday.
Why it matters: It further focuses FedEx on core parcel delivery operations, while nearly tripling the size of the French company's CEVA Logistics unit.
