New Guards Group CEO Davide De Giglio and Off-White CEO Andrea Grilli are leaving Farfetch, an e-commerce company. Stephanie Phair will serve as NGG chair while retaining her role as group president of Farfetch. Under Armour said it will lay off 50 corporate positions across "several functions." Collin Browne,  chief operating officer, announced plans to leave Under Armour along with Lisa Collier, chief product officer. 🛫 Departures and layoffs

Starbucks' union representing baristas went on strike at more than 150 stores over the company not allowing Pride Month decor in cafes. https://axios.link/43j8shs 

Hundreds of retail workers in Spain walked off the job in a new round of strikes against H&M Group. More than 4,000 Spanish employees at the multinational company, which includes brands like H&M, Other Stories and Cos, are seeking pay rises and protesting increased workloads. https://axios.link/3ptdvOI 

Wawa and 7-Eleven split their president and CEO roles, a move that is becoming more common among large companies and those growing rapidly. The separate roles allow the CEO to focus on long-term goals and the president to attend to daily operations. https://axios.link/3D1UHZT 

New York City's retail industry has shed thousands of retail jobs since the pandemic, despite an improved job market. Since February 2020, New York City saw an 11.1% decline in retail jobs, while the overall private employment sector regained 0.8% of jobs. https://axios.link/3XJqSaa
