Macy's lowered its sales outlook for the fourth quarter to at or below the low end of its previously guided range of between $7.8 billion and $8 billion, it said Monday.
Why it matters: The department store chain is under pressure from activists Barington Capital and Thor Equities after fending off Arkhouse Management and Brigade Capital Management last year.
