Hill moves
Emily Slack has been promoted to clerk and staff director at the Senate GOP Appropriations subcommittee on labor, health, human services and education, per Leadership Connect. She was previously a professional staff member on the subcommittee.
Katherine Robbins is now a communications adviser for Sen. Roger Wicker, per Leadership Connect. She was previously a communications director for Rep. Carol Miller.
Administration moves
Alejandro Aleman is now acting chief of staff at the Office of National Drug Control Policy, per Leadership Connect. He was previously acting deputy chief of staff in the office.
Caitlin Soto is now a senior policy adviser at the Employee Benefits Security Administration at the Department of Labor, per Leadership Connect. She was previously the chief counsel for oversight and investigations for Senate HELP Committee Republicans.
Grace Graham is now deputy commissioner for policy, legislation, and international affairs and leads the Office of Policy, Legislation and International Affairs at the Food and Drug Administration. She was previously chief health counsel for House Energy and Commerce Republicans.
Mitch Hailstone is now principal deputy assistant secretary of legislation at the Department of Health and Human Services. He was previously senior director of federal and external affairs at Elevance Health.
Chris Krepich is now director of the Office of Communications for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He was previously a senior communications adviser for House Energy and Commerce Republicans.
Charles Chapman is now a special assistant in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Legislation at the Department of Health and Human Services, per Leadership Connect. He was previously a professional staff member for House Budget Committee Republicans.
Industry and lobbying moves
Amanda Lincoln will join Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney as a principal. She is coming from the Senate HELP Committee, where she is staff director for Republicans.
Grace Millerick is now director of government relations and political advocacy at the Federation of American Hospitals. She was previously director of federation relations and coalition partnerships at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Josh Jorgensen is now director at McDermott+. He was previously director of legislative affairs at the Alliance of Community Health Plans.
Conor Sheehey is now a director on the health policy team at Leavitt Partners. He was previously a senior health policy adviser for Senate Finance Committee Republicans.
Maura Calsyn has joined Hogan Lovells as partner in the health practice. She previously was acting assistant secretary for aging at HHS.
Emily Dowsett is now vice president of communications at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores. She previously was director of policy communications for the Medical Group Management Association.
Mark Newsom has joined Avalere Health as managing director. He previously was deputy group director at CMS.
Doug Andres has joined the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as vice president of political communications. He previously was press secretary for Sen. Mitch McConnell.
Academic and nonprofit moves
Katie Keith is returning to her role as founding director of the Center for Health Policy and the Law at Georgetown University. She previously had a stint in the Biden administration, including as deputy director of the White House Gender Policy Council.
