Hill moves
Yujin Lee is now Rep. Rob Menendez's chief of staff, per LegiStorm. She previously was director of federal government affairs at CVS Health. Â
Catherine Francois is now chief speechwriter for Sen. John Cornyn, per LegiStorm. She previously was the deputy speechwriter for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Administration moves
Steven Kozlowski is now the FDA's acting chief scientist. He previously was in the agency's Office of Pharmaceutical Quality.Â
Michelle Tarver is now director of the FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health. She previously was the center's acting director and its deputy director for transformation.
Cara Chang is now special assistant for health and veterans and immigration at the White House Domestic Policy Council, per Leadership Connect. She previously was an intern there.Â
Clare Pierce-Wrobel is joining the Oregon Health Authority as health policy and analytics director. She previously was director for delivery system reform at the White House Domestic Policy Council.Â
Alexandra Bell is now the associate director for communications and strategic planning at the Office of Management and Budget, per Leadership Connect. She was previously the deputy associate director for communications at OMB.
Industry and lobbying moves
Janet Woodcock has joined the board of Every Cure. She previously had a long career at FDA, including as its acting commissioner.Â
Jocelyn Wiles is joining Akin as senior policy adviser. She joins from the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association. Â
Jason Stenta is joining Walgreens as senior vice president and chief commercial officer. He was previously a senior vice president at Optum.Â
David Joyner is now president and CEO of CVS Health. He was previously the company's executive vice president.Â
Steven Grossman is stepping down as executive director of the Alliance for a Stronger FDA in December.Â
Nicole Longo is now director of U.S. policy and issues communications at Novartis. She previously was a deputy vice president at PhRMA.Â
Jeffrey Leibach is now managing director at Berkeley Research Group. He previously was a partner at Guidehouse.Â
Clif Porter is now president and CEO of the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living. He previously was the group's head of government relations.Â
Lissy Hu is joining Ascend Learning as CEO. She previously was CEO of CarePort Health.Â
Merri-Lee Stine will be board chair of the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange. She joins from Aetna. Â
Mark Hirschhorn is now chief financial officer at Amwell. He was previously CEO of TapestryHealth.Â
Lauren Camp is now an account executive at Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies. She was previously the press secretary for the House Oversight Committee GOP.
Academic and nonprofit moves
Scott Harris has been named president of the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials. He is state health officer for Alabama.Â
Tina Tan has been named president of the Infectious Diseases Society of America. She is a professor at Northwestern University's medical school. Â
Jennifer Nuzzo has been elected to the National Academy of Medicine. She is director of the Pandemic Center at the Brown University School of Public Health.Â
Colleen Kelley has been elected chair of the board of directors at the HIV Medicine Association. She is a professor at the Emory University School of Medicine.
