Hill moves
Jacob Chebowski has been promoted to health policy director in Sen. Mike Braun's office. He was formerly a legislative assistant in Braun's office.
Max Seltzer has been promoted to health policy advisor in Sen. Roger Marshall's office. He was previously a legislative assistant in Marshall's office.
Tara Jordan is joining Sen. Jon Ossoff's office as a legislative assistant covering health, education and labor issues. She was previously a health legislative assistant in Rep. Annie Kuster's office.
Chile Emenuga is joining the House Budget Committee Republicans as press secretary. He was previously press secretary for House Intelligence Committee Chair Mike Turner.
Nicolás Ballón is joining Rep. Barbara Lee's office as a communications director. He was previously a press secretary for Senate HELP Committee Democrats.
Blake Nolan is joining Rep. Vern Buchanan's office as a deputy chief of staff. He was formerly a senior legislative assistant for Rep. Drew Ferguson.
Scott Heppard has been promoted to chief of staff for Rep. Brendan Boyle. He was formerly a district chief of staff for Boyle's district office.
Alicia Yass is now chief counsel for House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic Democrats. She was previously senior counsel for the committee.
Administration moves
Kristen Constantine is joining the Health Resources and Services Administration as a senior adviser and public health analyst. She was previously a vice president at Venn Strategies.
Carolyn Hutter has been selected as director of the NIH Office of Strategic Coordination. She was previously director of the Division of Genome Sciences at the National Human Genome Research Institute.
Industry and lobbying moves
Vaishu Jawahar has joined Protect Our Care as the deputy director of policy programs. She previously worked for Waxman Strategies and in the office of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Peter Olsen-Phillips has joined the Association for Community Affiliated Plans as a Medicaid policy manager. He was previously a health policy advisor for Senate Finance Democrats.
Lorraine Buhannic is joining mental health tech company Headway as chief people officer. She previously worked at Orchard and Squarespace.
Jeff Micklos is becoming CEO of the National Association of ACOs. He has been serving as the executive director of the Health Care Transformation Task Force at NAACOS and has also previously worked at the Federation of American Hospitals.
Ryan Silvester is joining Bourne Partners as a vice president of pharmatech and health care technology. He was previously a senior associate at Ballast Point Ventures.
Richele Keas is joining the Catholic Health Association of the United States as a senior director of media relations. She was previously the senior manager of media relations at the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Amanda Smith has joined K&L Gates health care and FDA practice as a health care lawyer. She previously was counsel at 340B Health.
Brian Dunphy has joined Arnold & Porter as a partner in the complex litigation practice. He was previously a health care litigator at Mintz.
Steven Landers is becoming the inaugural CEO of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice and National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization Alliance. He was previously CEO of Hebrew SeniorLife.
Jayne Morgan is now vice president of medical affairs at Hello Heart. She previously was executive director of health and community education at Piedmont.
Academic and nonprofit moves
Alison Barkoff is joining the George Washington University Milken Institute of Public Health as an associate professor of health law and policy and director of the Hirsh Health Law and Policy program. She has been the administrator for the Administration for Community Living and Assistant Secretary for Aging at HHS.
Cindy Rahman is being appointed interim president and CEO of the March of Dimes. She has been serving as the chief marketing officer for the March of Dimes.
Amanda Williams is joining March of Dimes as interim chief medical officer. She was previously a medical director at Mahmee.
Audrey Sandusky is joining Converge as vice president of marketing and communications. She was previously a senior director for communications for the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association.
Phyllis MacGilvray has been named dean of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville. She was previously the senior associate dean for academic affairs at the USC School of Medicine Greenville.
