Hill moves
- Jessica Lee is now the communications director for Rep. Robin Kelly's office. She was previously the media relations manager at Giffords, the gun violence prevention organization started by former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
- Audrey Cook is now the press secretary for Sen. Marsha Blackburn's office. She was previously the deputy press secretary in Sen. John Cornyn's office.
- Victoria Bonney is now the senior adviser and communications director in Rep. Frank Pallone's office. She was previously the communications director for Rep. Chellie Pingree's office.
- Dani Walker joined the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic as press secretary and speechwriter. She was previously at the American Public Health Association.
Industry and lobbying moves
- Kevin Brady has joined Akin as a senior policy consultant, where he will work on health, tax and trade issues. Brady served as chairman and ranking member of House Ways and Means until leaving Congress in 2022. The firm noted that Brady was the architect of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and that and the chairmanship "provides him with a unique insight that will be invaluable for our clients as we approach TCJA's expiration in 19 months."
- Chris Bond has joined AHIP as senior vice president of communications. He was previously at Plus Communications, after doing comms for Rep. Steve Scalise.
- Rebecca Buck is now senior vice president of communications at the Better Medicare Alliance. She was previously at Penta Group and a reporter for CNN.
- Eva Temkin has joined Arnold & Porter as a partner in the Life Sciences & Healthcare Regulatory practice. She previously worked as the associate chief counsel in the FDA's Office of Chief Counsel and as the acting director for policy at the FDA's Office of Therapeutic Biologics and Biosimilars.
- David Jones is now president of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery. He is chief of thoracic surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
- Sarah Williams is now director of political advocacy at the Federation of American Hospitals. She was previously senior manager of voter education at the American Bankers Association.
- Ladan Ahmadi has joined Elevance Health as director of federal affairs. She was previously at Tiger Hill Partners and Third Way.
- Stacey Frisk is now executive director of The Rare Disease Company Coalition. She was previously director of global regulatory strategy at Sarepta Therapeutics.
Campaign moves
- Eliana Locke is now regional press program director for the Biden-Harris Wisconsin Campaign, overseeing local media engagement across the state. She was previously the communications director for Rep. Robin Kelly and and worked at Priorities USA.
- Savannah Newhouse is now the communications director for Sen. Marsha Blackburn's re-election campaign. She was previously the press secretary in Blackburn's Senate office.
Nonprofit and think tank moves
- Jeanne Lambrew is joining The Century Foundation as director of health care reform. She was previously commissioner of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, and was a key architect of the Affordable Care Act in the Obama White House.
- Jennifer Laudano has joined Arnold Ventures as a vice president of advocacy for the health care portfolio, where she will work on federal and state advocacy strategies. She previously worked for the National Academy for State Health Policy, the Pew Charitable Trusts and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.
- Rachel Pollock has joined Arnold Ventures as a vice president of external affairs, where she will lead teams in Houston and D.C. She has previously worked for vice president of ACT for NIH, and also for the NIH, HHS and OMB.
- ββAndrew Bacher-Hicks is now vice president of evidence and evaluation at Arnold Ventures. He was previously at Boston University's Wheelock College of Education and Human Development.
- Laura Hobbs is now senior vice president of health care policy at Washington Analysis. She was previously director of health care policy at the American Action Forum.
- Sophia Nilanont has joined the American Heart Association as global advocacy portfolio lead. She was previously public affairs communications advisor at CVS Health.
