It includes purpose-built AI agents that can be deployed across the order-to-cash cycle to automate tasks like drafting payment reminders and summarizing sales contracts.

State of play: The billing and revenue market is highly competitive, as Zenskar is going up against highly funded private companies like Stripe, Chargebee, and Maxio, as well as PE-backed Zuora.

The big picture: Pricing models are also evolving to stave off the SaaSpocalypse.

SaaS companies are being forced to replace their seat-based pricing models with usage-based or outcome-based pricing, where costs are tied to measurable results.

By the numbers: Zenskar expects 5x revenue growth this year and has more than 100 customers, Bansal says.

Founded in 2022, the company has raised $20 million.

What's next: Zenskar plans to double its 45-person headcount by the end of the year, adding employees to its product and engineering and sales and marketing teams.
