Uniphore, an AI business cloud provider, closed a $260 million Series F at a $2.5 billion valuation, co-founder and CEO Umesh Sachdev tells Axios Pro.

Why it matters: Some of the biggest names in AI invested, in the latest bet that enterprise AI adoption will increase.

Zoom in: Nvidia, AMD, Snowflake Ventures, Databricks Ventures, NEA, March Capital, BNF Capital, National Grid Partners, and Prosperity7 all invested in the round.

How it works: Uniphore's AI business cloud is a one-stop shop for large enterprises' AI needs, Sachdev says.

It can connect and prep fragmented data for AI uses, fine-tune LLMs using proprietary enterprise data and also build and deploy agentic workflows.

The platform also allows users to chose which AI and data providers they work with, while offering scalability and security.

State of play: The company has made 10 acquisitions to date, including two — Orby AI and Autonom8 — in August.

Sachdev says the company will continue to look at companies for both technology and talents that can grow the platform's capabilities.

By the numbers: Palo Alto, California-based Uniphore expects to be at $200 million in ARR by the end of the year and has a revenue growth rate of between 90% to 100%, Sachdev says.

Founded in 2008, the company has now raised nearly $846 million.

Uniphore has more than 2,000 global customers, including Fortune 500 companies.

Between the lines: The large customer base was one of the factors that pushed Snowflake to invest, as it could help the data warehouse giant gain new clients, says Snowflake Ventures director Harsha Kapre.

What they're saying: "We are proud the two top compute and the two top data companies took part, and it helps validate our position in the market," Sachdev says.

What's next: Uniphore is "absolutely building to an IPO," says Sachdev, who did not offer a time frame for such an event.

He adds that an IPO is both expected and something he personally wants.
