Government
Anna Yelverton joined Sen. Brian Schatz's office as a climate and environment policy advisor. She's the former legislative affairs director for the State Department's climate envoy office.
Jesse Young joined climate envoy John Podesta's office as chief of staff.
Colin Cunliff is now director of strategic analysis at DOE's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
Hal Pittman was named director of public affairs for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Emilia Rowland, a former comms staffer for Sean Casten, Summer Lee and John Fetterman, joined the DNC as national press secretary.
DOE appointed the board of the Foundation for Energy Security and Innovation, an independent nonprofit created via the CHIPS Act. It includes U.S. Energy Association chair Vicky Bailey; BlueGreen Alliance chief Jason Walsh; National Grid NY president Rudy Wynter; Purdue University president Mung Chiang; and former CEQ chair Mike Boots.
Lobbying and industry
Bill Daley, former chief of staff in the Obama White House, joined Crux as a senior advisor. The firm facilitates the IRA's transferable energy tax credits.
Andrew Shaw joined Bracewell's Policy Resolution Group as a partner.
Robert Lamkin has joined Eversheds Sutherland's Global Energy Group as a partner. He was previously a partner on the energy team at McDermott Will & Emery.
Greg Dillard joined the energy industry team at BakerHostetler.
Tom West, a former top tax official at Treasury, joined Capitol Tax Partners.
Nate Bolin and David Allman joined the trade and antitrust practice at K&L Gates.
Nonprofits and think tanks
Lisa Frank was promoted to executive director of Environment America.
Jade Begay and Evan Weber joined the governing board of directors at Evergreen Action.
Geoffrey Fettus joined Earthjustice as managing attorney for the Toxic Exposure and Health Program. He's a longtime environmentalist who previously worked for NRDC for more than 20 years.
Travis Brubaker, a former researcher at ClearView Energy Partners, joined E3G as a senior policy advisor.
T.W. Shannon joined America First Policy Institute as a senior fellow for transportation and infrastructure.
Joe Quinn is the new executive director of SAFE's Center for Strategic Industrial Materials.
