MEDIA ADVISORY

Axios Launches Axios Macro Newsletter

Neil Irwin and Courtenay Brown to write daily economics newsletter beginning June 13

--

1 big thing: Axios will launch Axios Macro, a new daily business and economics newsletter, on June 13. The newsletter will keep readers ahead of the curve on the most important economic developments and how business, policy and markets collide.

  • Courtenay Brown will rejoin Axios as an economics reporter to co-write the newsletter with Axios Chief Economic Correspondent Neil Irwin.
  • Axios Macro will be bundled with the economy and business newsletters Axios Closer and Axios Markets to create the Axios Business Suite.

Why it matters: The Axios Business Suite will decipher the daily business news and give readers all they need to know about what is shaping the economy and our lives.

  • Starting June 18, Axios Markets will move to six days a week, with the addition of a weekend edition led by Axios Chief Financial Correspondent Felix Salmon. The Saturday newsletter, which replaces Axios Capital, will give subscribers an in-depth read on all the ways that money drives the world.
