Former President George W. Bush said in a statement Tuesday that he stands by his early endorsement of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Amid sexual assault allegations of the former White House aide, Bush told Politico, "Laura and I have known and respected Brett Kavanaugh for decades, and we stand by our comments the night Judge Kavanaugh was nominated."
