1 big thing: How to celebrate the Rox home opener
If you didn't score tickets to the game against the Philadelphia Phillies at Coors Field tomorrow, fear not!
- There are still plenty of ways to join the seasonal festivities.
Zoom in: Bars and restaurants throughout Denver will mark the occasion with drink and food specials tomorrow.
🍹 The Cherry Cricket's Blake Street location, just outside of the stadium, offers a $9 purple margarita dubbed "The Dingerita" in honor of the Rockies' dinosaur mascot, Dinger.
☂️ Denver Union Station will host a free, family-friendly Opening Day Block Party starting at 11am on Wynkoop Plaza with a live Prince cover band.
🎨 Great Divide Brewery added special beer-and-shot pairings to its menu, including a Yeti beer and Old Forester whisky shot. Meanwhile, an artist will be on site from 2-5pm sketching free custom portraits.
🌮 Kachina Cantina is serving $30 house margarita pitchers all day long, plus $10 well shots and draft beer combos, and $8 Jack & Coke canned cocktails.
⚾️ McGregor Square will host free live music and specials inside The Rally Hotel and its restaurants, The Original and Call Me Pearl. You can also catch the game on its 66-foot big screen.
🍹 Poka Lola will open at noon and offer a $10 well shot and Coors Banquet combo, $8 house pickle shots and a $7 seventh-inning shot.
🌭 Tamayo has a $14 deal for a bacon-wrapped hot dog topped with pickled peppers and chipotle rouillem, plus a Coors Light.

"Alien: Romulus" — available tomorrow on HBO Max
- The newest entry in the sci-fi horror franchise arrives on HBO Max this month, along with its predecessors up through Ridley Scott's original "Alien" (1979) — in case you're in the mood for a movie marathon.
- Catch up quick: The blockbuster grossed more than $350 million at the worldwide box office in 2024.
"Your Friends & Neighbors" — Season 2 available tomorrow on Apple TV+
- Jon Hamm returns as Andrew "Coop" Cooper, a disgraced hedge fund manager who has doubled down on his second life as a suburban thief. But a mysterious new neighbor (James Marsden) threatens to expose everything.
- The latest: Apple already renewed the show for a third season.
"The Truth and Tragedy of Moriah Wilson" — available tomorrow on Netflix
- In May 2022, elite cyclist Moriah Wilson was shot and killed in Austin, Texas, days before a major race. This documentary explores who she was and the impact she had on those who loved her.
- Zoom in: The film had its world premiere at SXSW this month.

"Untold: Chess Mates" — available next Tuesday on Netflix
- The latest entry in Netflix's hit sports documentary franchise revisits the 2022 Sinquefield Cup, where rising American grandmaster Hans Niemann defeated five-time world champion Magnus Carlsen. It became one of the biggest scandals in chess history.
- What they're saying: "The truth, reckoning, and revolution is upon us," Niemann wrote on X after the film's trailer debuted.
"The Boys" — Season 5 available next Wednesday on Prime Video
- The fifth and final season of one of streaming's most-watched (and goriest) series premieres with two episodes, and then weekly new episodes.
- Context: Homelander, the superhero baddie on the show and king of reaction memes online, now controls America under fascist rule. It's up to Billy Butcher and the gang to end the "supe" threat once and for all.
