🎉 It's Friday eve.
- Cuneyt here, with your weekend plans.
Today's newsletter is 586 words — a 2.5-minute read.
1 big thing: Have a Holi weekend
It's the most colorful holiday of the year — the Holi Festival is back in Dupont for its fourth year.
Why it matters: The Festival of Colors welcomes the spring season, and what great timing because it'll be 69 degrees on Saturday.
🎶 Zoom in: The Indian Embassy is partnering with the neighborhood to expand this year's festival.
- A DJ will spin upbeat Indian tracks, beginning at noon, before dance troupes take the stage for cultural dancing.
- When the dancing concludes, it's powder time — music, dancing and colorful powder-throwing will collide in a big party (2-4pm).
- Masala chai and traditional sweets provided, courtesy of the embassy.
🎨 While powder sales have ended, admission to the festival is free.
