These pups aren't just playing fetch.
State of non-play: More than 70 police K-9 teams will compete in agility, obedience, apprehension and detection challenges at an expo at WestWorld this weekend — and you can go watch.
What to expect: Simulated law-enforcement scenarios and an expo hall full of vendors, demonstrations and equipment from police, fire, SWAT, aviation and mounted units.
- Bonus: Children can climb inside some of the emergency and armored vehicles at the expo, plus there will be live music and a trunk-or-treat where costumes are encouraged.
If you go: Doors open at 8am Saturday and Sunday. Children 12 and younger get in free.
- Tickets start at $10 for early birds and $15 at the door.
Yes, but: Personal pups have to stay home.
