Who doesn't need their own tennis court, pool and movie theater? In the so-called "Versailles of La Jolla," you'll never need to leave the house.
The big picture: How you'll afford it is your own problem.
By the numbers: The property at 1205 Muirlands Drive is listed for just under $24 million, and it's on sale!
- The price was cut by $3 million earlier this month.
Zoom in: The 14,768-square-foot estate sits on 2.65 acres with panoramic ocean views, eight bedrooms, nine full bathrooms and four half bathrooms.
And the extras sound more like a resort brochure than a home listing.
- 🎾 Outside: A regulation tennis court, saltwater pool and spa, plus a pool cabana with its own kitchen and bathroom.
- 🎬 Inside: A theater, game room, billiards and bar lounge, golf simulator and music room.
- 🛏️ For your entourage: Two separate guest residences give visitors their own space.
Flashback: The home dates to 1929 and was later expanded and modernized.
The intrigue: The gardens have local cred. The brokerage says Kate Sessions made their original design.
Listing agent: Craig Lotzof of The Agency.
