San Diego braces for dangerous heat through Friday

By the numbers: Highs will be in the mid 80s near the beaches and mid 90s inland, per the National Weather Service.

• Ramona could hit 110 and Borrego Springs 115.

The heat won't peak until Thursday or Friday, and nighttime temperatures will be higher than usual, meaning we won't cool down as much by morning.
