San Diego happy hour find: $5 craft beers are still out there

👋 Claire here. Last week I dreamed the impossible dream and found a $5 beer.

• OK, yes, there are plenty of $5 beers still to be found, but this was a $5 craft beer.

This miracle happened at Brigantine Portside Pier, where they have the Brig Blonde for $5 during happy hour, Sun-Fri 2-5 pm.

• You can also get the Ketch Alta Mar at Miguel's for $5 during the same hours.

The other Brigantine and Miguel's locations have the deal until 6pm.

• Even better, the beers are actually good. Brig Blonde won gold medals at the Great American Beer Festival and San Diego International Beer Competition last year.
