A new, mini Ikea is opening in South Bay

A new Ikea is opening in South Bay next week as the retailer expands with smaller versions of its home furnishing stores.

• It's our third Ikea, and the same format of the Escondido store that opened in May.

Zoom in: The Ikea South Bay won't have a large showroom to shop through, but customers can work with designers on room renovations and storage solutions and pick up online orders.

📍Find it in the Southland Plaza Shopping Center at 585 Saturn Boulevard.

• The grand opening is July 22.
