Swim with the sharks in La Jolla this summer

• Many are pregnant females migrating to the warmer water ahead of giving birth.

🤿 Driving the news: Birch Aquarium is bringing back shark snorkels for a 2-hour guided experience, which hasn't been offered since 2019.

• You'll swim with the sharks, rays, and other wildlife, explore their habitat and learn about conservation.
• The tours start in September, just in time for locals' summer. Tickets ($35-$40) go on sale August 1.
• Bring your own masks, fins and snorkels.

🦈 You can also swim, snorkel or kayak with the sharks on your own, or book other guided tours.

• The best way to see them is in the morning, at low tide and just off The Marine Room.
