San Diego concerts ramp up with big stars

San Diego's concert scene is stepping up in the next few weeks.
The big picture: From big-name artists like P!nk to indie bands like St. Lucia, there's something for everyone.
Here's what's coming up:
🎤 St. Lucia at The Music Box. The indie pop band plays Thursday, bringing glossy synths and upbeat tracks like "Elevate." Expect a dance-heavy set.
🎶 P!nk at Petco Park. On Friday, the pop superstar takes over downtown with a stadium-sized show.
🎸 Bob Log III at The Casbah. The one-man blues-punk act plays Sunday. He's known for performing in a helmet with a telephone receiver so he can keep his hands and feet free for guitar and drums.
🌊 Yungblud at Rady Shell. On May 20, the genre-blending rocker brings high-energy alt-pop to the waterfront stage.
🔥 Barrington Levy at Music Box. The reggae legend performs May 21, delivering classic dancehall and roots reggae with a decades-spanning catalog.
💃 Kesha at North Island Credit Union Amphitheater. On May 23, Kesha brings a glitter-filled pop show to Chula Vista. Expect both throwback party hits and newer, more personal songs.
🎷 Sergio Mendes Band at Belly Up. The Brazilian icon stops May 27 on his 60th anniversary tour filled with bossa nova and jazz-pop classics.
🎉 Pitbull at North Island Credit Union Amphitheater. Mr. Worldwide performs May 29 with a nonstop run of club hits. Promises to be one of the biggest shows of the summer.
🌴 Fiesta del Sol in Solana Beach. The free festival returns May 30 with English Beat, Common Sense and Pine Mountain Logs.
🎺 Los Lobos at Belly Up. Also on May 30, the East L.A. legends bring their blend of rock, Tex-Mex and blues.
🎼 Rod Stewart at North Island Credit Union Amphitheater. On June 12, the rock icon delivers decades of hits. Singalongs and classic showmanship are all but guaranteed.
