Never fear, the weekend is here.
The big picture: From elephants to a galactic roller coaster to the flower fields, there are lots of big openings this weekend, but also lower-key things to do.
π§± Legoland Galaxy Grand Opening β Legoland California debuts its new land, Lego Galaxy, with the Galacticoaster, a space-themed indoor roller coaster, plus other new rides. This is the park's first new roller coaster in more than 20 years.
- Opens Friday.
π βΎοΈ San Diego State University Aztecs men's basketball and baseball teams play at home this weekend.
- Wear white to the SDSU men's basketball regular season finale and senior night on Friday night at Viejas Arena.
- The baseball team hosts Saint Mary's at Tony Gwynn Stadium on Friday at 6pm, Saturday at 5pm and Sunday at 1pm.
πΊ SeaWorld Seven Seas Craft Beer & Food Festival β Try craft beer from local breweries paired with international cuisine.
- It runs weekends through April 26 at SeaWorld San Diego.
π¬ San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering β Hands-on science experiments, Kβ12 student contests, college and career connections and presentations come to Petco Park.

π©° City Ballet of San Diego: "Rhapsody in Blue" β City Ballet performs at the Balboa Theatre.
- Shows on Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 2pm.
ππ½ββοΈ Camp Shred β Check out and try out surfboards, wetsuits and other gear at this massive two-day demo festival at the San Elijo campgrounds in Cardiff with live music, a beer garden and local food trucks.

π HOLI festival β Dance in explosions of color at this family-friendly celebration with a Bollywood DJ, Indian food and other activities at Hourglass Field Community Park.

π» Allegro Con Brio β Finest City Wind Orchestra β San Diego's Finest City Wind Orchestra, an ensemble of 50 woodwind, brass and percussion musicians, performs at Calvary Lutheran Church in Solana Beach.
