San Diego schools are facing a $47 million budget deficit for the next school year.
Bagula addressed the crisis in a recorded video and shared her plan for fixing it.
So far, that involves creating a cross-departmental budget review team to come up with new strategies.
The district is hosting a community meeting from 5-6:30 pm on Dec. 17 at the Wilson Middle School library (3838 Orange Ave.) to share more information.
