NASCAR unveiled the course map for the high-speed street race it's bringing to San Diego next summer.
Why it matters: Naval Base Coronado is the first active-duty military base to host a NASCAR race, and this three-day event could bring tens of thousands of spectators to Naval Air Station North Island.
Zoom in: Drivers will take 16 turns on the 3.4-mile track,passing aircraft carriers and fighter jets. There will be grandstand seating throughout the circuit.
