The San Diego Padres are going back to the MLB playoffs after a 5-4 comeback win against the Milwaukee Brewers at Petco Park last night.
Why it matters: This is the first time the Padres have made back-to-back playoff appearances since 2005-06, and the fourth time in six years the team has reached the postseason.
What they're saying: "We're in — I think right in the beginning of — the best era of Padres baseball," said manager Mike Shildt, MLB.com reported.
