San Diego Zoo's new De Brazza's monkey

The San Diego Zoo's De Brazza's monkeys welcomed Lulua to their troop last month.

• Named after a river from their native habitat in the Congo, the "spunky" infant spends most mornings bouncing around hammocks, according to the zoo.

Fun fact: Lulua's big brother Kasai was the first De Brazza's monkey born at the zoo in 26 years in 2023.
